Tea
Once a year, much to Carolyn’s amusement, I try tea to see if I like it. For some 33 years I’ve never really liked tea (I didn’t even drink coffee until I was at college). Anyway, at this year’s annual tasting I decided that this year I do like tea. I like it black with 1.5 / 2 sugars. Put the kettle on…

DUDE!
no.
tea with milk and no sugar.
but you need to brew it up! it’s got to be strong. Yorkshire tea is wicked as well. Scottish blend for up here though.

I have a box of tea bags in the coffee room at school (to break tradition). Of the >150 people using said coffee room, no one steals my tea bags. Not ‘cus they are honest & upstanding academics but ‘cus no one likes it. Its called Lapsang Souchong (poss wrong spelling) and has been likened to: charcoal; tar; sheep dip; peat; bonfires; tea with coffee in it… I bet you’re tempted to try it? It is amusing to watch the uninitiated fail to find a normal tea bag, think ‘oh, this’ll do’, take their first gulp and pull very entertaining faces.
